About Wind and Stone
Wind and Stone is a dynamic and refreshingly multi-generational quartet of seasoned and personable musicians. Their entertaining spirit and soulful harmonies, combined with their unique renditions of favorite classics and compelling originals, delights audiences throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.
Krisha Patenaude-Stoever has been a professional vocalist for over 20 years, performing live and doing studio work for a variety of artists and producers. She comes from a musical family, but began her career with WEA (Warner Brother-Germany), at 17 years of age. She has co-produced and arranged two original, solo albums and has provided lead and back-up vocals for many other artists throughout the United States and Europe. She has has enjoyed living in the Hudson Valley with her family for the past 10 years.
Jim Hession has played the guitar for over 40 years and has taught guitar for over 25 years. He has played with a multitude of artists and has co-founded many open-mics in the Hudson Valley area. Jim enjoys playing a diverse repertoire of music and helps create some of the wonderful harmonies Wind and Stone is known for. Jim lives in the Hudson Valley and works as a high school counselor by day.
Bassist Robert Bard began his career in the '80s, playing on the streets and in the clubs of NYC. He graduated from Columbia University and studied jazz at Mannes School of Music. He spent 15 years as a composer and music director for CBS-TV, where he was nominated for 8 Emmy Awards. Robert has recorded countless artists at Skytop Sound, his production and recording company. He also teaches bass privately and at the Waldorf School in New Paltz, NY.
